KEVIN HAYNES  I was born in the small village of Waterhead, Oldham

 

I am a self-taught artist, having had no formal art training.

However from a young age I have always been interested in art, and have been a keen collector of northern contemporary artwork for many years.

It has been said that my work is of a naive style with crisp lines and vibrant colours, which create warm unique pictures that capture the times of the northern textile industry. Painting originally for my own pleasure, I quickly found an enthusiastic audience for my work.

I now have my paintings in collections in the UK, Europe, USA and the Far East.
