Chris Cyprus. self taught, passionate and unique

 

 

Chris Cyprus was born in Gorton , Manchester, eventually moving to the rolling pennine hills of Mossley, via Stockport.

Completely self taught, Chris began painting following a work related back injury, which saw him unable to work for many months.

His previous job titles include, touring musician, builder, carpet fitter,  and landscape gardener.

The one vocation that made Chris truly happy was painting. A combination of gritty determination and passion have helped Chris realise his dream of making a living from producing art.
